Measuring Impact

Measuring What Matters: A Year of Healing in Action

While we’re proud of our numbers, we know that numbers tell a story, but not the whole story.

Behind every statistic in this report is a moment of transformation: a child who learned they are not alone in their struggle, a grandmother who discovered her strength as a kinship caregiver, and a teenager who walked into crisis and walked out with hope.

Our impact is also found in what we’ve built: a continuum of care that meets people where they are: from prevention and early intervention (82% of our services) to intensive crisis support when life becomes overwhelming.

We have intentionally developed this continuum of culturally responsive programs serving families who speak 15+ languages across multiple counties. We know that we stand with our youth and families as a trauma-informed organization where healing isn’t just a clinical outcome, but a lived experience for clients and staff alike.

The data you see here is an attempt to capture the breadth and depth of that work. You’ll see who we served, where they live, what they needed, and what changed because Edgewood was here for them.

You will also see data that serves as proofpoints reflecting our values: equity, dignity, prevention, and whole-family healing.

The numbers matter because the people behind them matter.

Measuring Impact, Honoring Stories

The data shown here is a snapshot of a comprehensive overview of the children, youth, caregivers, and families engaged with Edgewood during FY2025 (July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025).

The data reflects our continued commitment to advancing trauma-informed, healing-centered care while tracking agency-wide service reach, client demographics, treatment outcomes, and client experiences.

Our Approach

Behind every number is a person. Behind every percentage is a family’s courage to seek help. With this in mind, we are continuously striving to improve the ways we track and share data.

Our Data Sources

Data were drawn primarily from the Welligent electronic health record system and supplemented with program-level input from leadership and staff across our San Francisco and San Mateo sites. All client counts represent unduplicated individuals per program, though we acknowledge that some families accessed multiple programs throughout the year, with each service point counted as an additional contact.
